Chairman and/or CEO of most of the companies represented in the Purbani Group, is the entrepreneur who first established the group made it what it is today. Mr. A.H. Sarker is a highly qualified person and has gathered formidable expertise in promoting and administration of varied industrial and business concerns. He earned his post-graduate degree in Management in 1970 from the University of Dhaka. Soon after completion of his formal education, Mr. Sarker became involved with international trade and business, earning himself a notable reputation as a dynamic entrepreneur. Besides being the Chief executive of the Group, Mr. Sarker is the founding Chairman of Dhaka Bank and served as the vice-chairman of Bangladesh Association of Bank for two year (1999-2000).
