SHOHAGPUR TEXTILES MILLS LTD
 
Shohagpur Textiles Ltd., located on the bank of the Sitalakha River (which provides a natural humidity that is favorable for spinning), is the sole producer of mélange yarn in Bangladesh. The mill features state-of-the-art European machinery form Trutzschler, & Platt Sacho-lowell among some others big name machinery from the textile industry. Currently the mill operates 43,000 spindles, and the management is in the process of adding adding another 20,000 spindles in the mill’s next expansion programme.
 
Shohagpur Textiles has an annual turnover of approximately US$ 15 million producing both mélange and gray yarn for export purposes.
